New writing on the frontier of medicine — every week.

About the publication

An independent record of what medicine is learning.

Revuelt Health reports on breakthroughs and emerging frontiers in medicine and healing. We are a journalism and education publication, not a clinic and not a store. We do not sell treatments, we do not take payment for coverage, and we do not accept sponsorship from the clinics or companies we write about.

The territory we cover — psychedelic-assisted treatment, integrative and functional practice, energy and frequency work, contested chronic illness, destination clinics — is poorly served by both of the usual approaches. Dismissal ignores real mechanisms and real patient experience. Promotion ignores real risk. We try for a third thing: careful description of what is known, what is plausible, and what is unproven.

Our relationship to Revuelt

Revuelt Health is the sister publication of Revuelt, a wellness brand built on the same conviction: that care should be grounded in science and stated without exaggeration. The two share a point of view and a founding team. They do not share an editorial process.

Nothing sold by Revuelt influences what we cover here, and we do not write product reviews or recommendations for the store. When a piece touches on a category Revuelt operates in, we disclose it in the article.

Editorial standards

  • i.

    Evidence-first

Every claim traces to a mechanism, a study, or a named source. Where evidence is preliminary, single-center, or absent, we say so in the body of the piece rather than in a footnote.

  • ii.

    Open-minded, never credulous

We cover therapies mainstream medicine has not adopted, and we hold them to the same questions: what is the proposed mechanism, what has been measured, and what are the risks.

  • iii.

    Reader-respecting

No fear-mongering, no miracle framing, no engineered urgency. We correct errors openly and date every correction.
